Beliefs
We at Hall Church believe and do attest to the following doctrines. We believe that:
1. One God in Three Persons - Father, Son, Holy Spirit. 1 John 5:7; 1 Peter 1:2
2. The Infallible, Verbal Inspiration of the Bible and Only the Bible. Rev. 22:18-19; II Peter 1:21; II Tim. 3:16
3. The Eternal Deity of Jesus Christ. His Virgin Birth, His sinless humanity, His substitutionary death, His bodily Resurrection. John 1:1, 14; Matt 1:18-25; II Cor. 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22, 24; John 20:27
4. Salvation by Faith without works, solely by grace. Ephesians 2:8-9
5. Faith maifested by works. II Cor 5:17; James 2:18
6. The Power of Christ's blood to save and cleanse from sin. 1 John 1:7
7. The Eternal Bliss of believers in Resurrection bodies. 1 Cor. 15:35-58; 1 Thess 4:13-18
8. The Eternal damnation in Hell of all who reject Christ. Rev. 20:10, 15
9. The absolute command to preach the Gospel to every Creature. Mark 16:15; Matt 28:19-20
10. The command of assembling of the Saints. Heb. 10:25
11. The one body of Christ, consisting of all Believers, Regardless of color, race or standing. 1 Cor. 12:13; Galatians 3:28
12. The imminent and personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to take His church unto Himself and set up His kingdom on the Earth. 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 19:11-16
13. We believe and attest to the Biblical standard and sanctity of marriage as one man, one woman, for life: Genesis 2:21-22, 24; Matthew 19:4-6; Mark 10:5-9; Romans 1:26-28
